This new exhibition will feature a series of large scale masks inspired by Afrofuturism and West African mask-making traditions. Each mask will draw inspiration from familiar and unfamiliar science fiction spacecrafts establishing links between the popular genre and the various world cultures from which much of their lore is drawn.
